'Vandal' Damages BLM 'Mural'

This has bugged me since this "Black Lives Matter" and "Defund the Police" street-painting fad began. The media refer to these protest signs as murals.

When I heard there was Black Lives Matter mural being painted in front of Trump Tower, I thought it would be an actual mural, on a wall. Words painted on a street usually aren't considered a mural. It seems like another attempt by the Democrats/Leftists to play with language. It seems like an effort to elevate the significance of a protest sign stenciled on a public street.

I think it's nus that the person who dumped red paint on the protest sign called a mural is being labeled as a vandal.

For weeks, we saw images of "peaceful protesters" defacing buildings and churches with vile graffiti, destroying and defacing monuments. The Democrat/Leftist/Marxist politicians and their Democrat/Leftist/Marxist media didn't call the thugs who damaged public and private property "vandals." They were characterized as protesters in a historic movement. They were called heroes struggling for change as they looted and burned our cities.

Yet, one guy throws some red paint on a protest sign (known as a mural), and he's called a vandal. He's committing a crime.

Why not call him a "peaceful protester," too? Why not call his application of paint part of a historic movement at this historic time in our historic history? Why not just call it his contribution to the mural?

We must be open to artistic expression, especially at this time in our history.
