Kenosha Shooting

There is rioting in Kenosha tonight over cell phone video of a police officer shooting a man as he got into a car, but that video appears to show the man holding something that looks like a handgun as officers repeatedly yell at him to "drop the gun." pic.twitter.com/bnEcnjZUOX

The video, which is very graphic, shows the man ignoring repeated officer commands to "drop the gun" as he tries to get in a vehicle. The officer then fires seven shots while grabbing hold of the man's shirt. https://t.co/eckIs79VPP https://t.co/XCAMyY0Ceq

It is unclear if the man was armed (or, if he was not, why officers were ordering him to “drop the gun”) or if he was reaching for a gun in his car when he was shot, but the 20 second video has already been viewed millions of times and has sparked rioting in Kenosha.
