Sen. Ron Johnson's statement on the riots in Kenosha:
After another night of violence and destruction, I again ask for demonstrators to remain peaceful and also call on elected officials charged with the responsibility to maintain safety and security in Wisconsin to devote the manpower to do so.
— Senator Ron Johnson (@SenRonJohnson) August 25, 2020
In particular, I ask Governor Evers to provide a sufficient presence of the Wisconsin National Guard to maintain order.

Peaceful protesting is a constitutionally protected form of free speech. Rioting is not. It must not be allowed to continue. #KenoshaRiots
Sen. Tammy Baldwin's statement:

— Sen. Tammy Baldwin (@SenatorBaldwin) August 24, 2020
Democrat Baldwin does not condemn the violence. She doesn't address all the economic hardship and emotional damage the rioters have done to innocent Wisconsinites. She doesn't address the riots at all. Instead, Baldwin is focusing on climate change and the post office.
Republican Johnson calls on elected officials to do their jobs and protect the people. He asks Evers to "provide a sufficient presence of the Wisconsin National Guard to maintain order."
Evers must end this domestic terrorism. If he wants to end it, he can.
If there's rampant lawlessness, arson, and destruction tonight again, I blame Tony Evers.
