ACB Hearing: Amy Klobuchar Lies About Wisconsin Election, COVID-19

While questioning Amy Coney Barrett during the confirmation hearing yesterday, Amy Klobuchar misled the American people about Wisconsin's primary election in spring.

Her remarks about Wisconsin begin at 23:00.

AMY KLOBUCHAR: In fact, back in May when voters in Wisconsin were standing in line in the middle of a pandemic in homemade masks in garbage bags in the middle of a rainstorm just to exercise their right to vote, seventy of them got COVID, because we didn't know enough about it back the because the president hadn't told us what he knew and we did't know enough to protect those voters.
The primary was April 7, 2020, not May. That's an easily verifiable fact. Very sloppy on Klobuchar's part.

Also, the mask recommendation from the White House Coronavirus Task Force came on April 3, 2020. We were told to wear cloth face coverings and to make our own, following Dr. Fauci's orders. Klobuchar acts as if the homemade masks were inadequate.

Furthermore, there was no way to prove that anyone in Wisconsin got the virus at a polling place and not somewhere else. It was determined and reported by the media that the primary did not cause a spike in COVID cases in Wisconsin.

Klobuchar's jab at President Trump claiming he withheld information about the virus was an extremely cheap shot, especially given the fact that the great Dr. Fauci admitted he flat-out LIED to Americans about masks.

Democrats like Klobuchar need to check their facts. They're misleading Americans, possibly intentionally, or possibly due to incompetence.
