Bring Home the Troops

Unlike Summer of Rage that lasted for months, there have been no follow-on protests post-Jan 6. Even with inauguration and impeachment show trial. Yet DC continues to be barricaded/fenced, with guardsmen still here. Why? What exactly are we paying for? What is it accomplishing?

Mollie Hemingway makes a great point. Why is DC still an armed fortress? Why are we paying for the deployment of 6,000 National Guard troops in DC?
There has been no violence following the January 6 Capitol breach, not in DC, not anywhere else in the country. That's very unlike the months of riots and arson and looting and assaults we saw from Democrats/Leftists like Black Lives Matter Marxists and Antifa anarchists. Kamala Harris raised funds to bail out the criminals to continue violent anti-police protests. Other Democrats and their propagandists in the media cheered them on. Lives and businesses were destroyed, while Democrat governors and mayors refused the assistance President Trump repeatedly offered.
We needed the military to protect people and property, but Democrats wanted the disorder and destruction. Now, they seem to want the theater of the nation's capital appearing to be a war zone.
Hundreds of millions of our tax dollars are being wasted in a political game.
