Roe v. Wade - 50 Years Later

Roe v. Wade is no longer the law of the land.

Overturning the decision did not end the slaughter. Babies are being killed every day in this country. That hasn't changed.

Once again, the responsiblity to make abortion laws belongs to the states. That's a tremendous achievement in the fight to protect innocent babies from harm.

There is reason to celebrate today. Roe v. Ward is no more.

However, this dark day in American history, January 22, 1973, should be marked with appropriate solemnity. There is reason to mourn.

Over 64 million unique, precious human lives have been ended by abortion since 1973. Lives continue to be lost.

Remember the millions and millions of lives that were never allowed to be lived, and the millions more that will be added to the death toll.
