As a practicing Catholic, I attend Mass weekly. My parish doesn't offer the Traditional Latin Mass. I don't know any church that celebrates the old Mass perhaps because I haven't looked for one. I personally don't experience any sense of division or friction at all because of the Traditional Latin Mass being celebrated elsewhere.BREAKING: Pope Francis further restricts the Traditional Latin Mass, demanding that bishops seek Rome’s permission for any parish celebration of the old Mass or for recently ordained priests to celebrate it. Now all permission must come from Rome which will “evaluate” cases. https://t.co/QphXqX2TxQ

There are self-proclaimed Catholics, like Nancy Pelosi, insisting that abortion is permitted by Church teaching. Alleged devout Catholic Biden supports the slaughter of babies up until the moment of birth. I experience that as extremely divisive. Some Catholics preferring to celebrate the Latin Mass doesn't concern me. Some Catholics claiming the Church supports abortion does. That's a deadly source of friction.Pope Francis has intervened for the third time to crack down on the celebration of the old Latin Mass, a sign of continued friction with Catholic traditionalists. https://t.co/R70dilTqSy
