Biden Returns, Vacation Over

Biden takes no questions as arrives back in Washington after spending three quarters of the past month on vacation.

Any rest Biden got while being on vacation for 75% of August was depleted by his walk across the White House lawn. Biden looks like he's trying to climb stairs instead of walking across a lawn. I don't believe the Big Guy is capable of "working out" for an hour and a half.
Is Jill doing an awkward walk because of her poor choice of shoes, or is she trying to make Biden look less decrepit?
