Biden's speech was brief. In between his repeated coughs, he did that weird shouting, resulting in slurring. Biden spent more time yapping about NATO and Sweden and Finland and the war in Ukraine than about the sacrifice thousands of young men made on D-Day, 80 years ago. Biden's words were not moving. He did not meet the moment.
