Biden has always had the authority to close the border.

He used that authority to open it up, because he and Democrats want an open border. They caused this problem.

If @POTUS was actually serious about securing the border, he’d set the threshold at zero illegal crossings a day, not 2,500.

Zero illegal crossings should be the goal of securing the border. Permitting thousands of people to enter illegally daily is not a secure border. It's an invasion.
