"In the one place in America where women still have a right to choose, you can vote anyway you want, and no one will ever know." What the hell is that? Was this ad written by extraterrestrials? Women aren't allowed to speak their minds? Are the women forced to wear red, white, and blue patriotic attire to please their husbands? And the voting booth is said to be the "one place in America where women still have a right to choose"? It's all absolutely idiotic. One of Kamala Harris' favorite lines is "we're not going back." Then why would Kamala have an ad that takes women back, depicting them as their husbands' slaves and suggesting they rebel with their votes? Why show women in a position requiring them to hide their political views from their husbands? It's terribly insulting. Why would Julia Roberts agree to participate in such a demeaning ad? Big mistake. The Democrats portray a dynamic among Trump supporters and their wives that is very creepy and very unrealistic. If the ad is supposed to empower weak women to vote for Kamala Harris while maintaining a charade to keep their pro-Trump husbands happy, it fails. They're speaking to a group of women that doesn't exist. There have been tons of horrible ads from Team Kamala, but this one is astoundingly horrible. In the voting booth, women still have the right to choose. New and important ad from @VoteCommon featuring Julia Roberts reminds women that no one will know who they voted for. Pass it on. pic.twitter.com/XALnryVPNm
