Liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau - 80 Years Ago

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day, marking 80 years after Auschwitz-Birkenau was liberated.

One photo. It tells an entire story.

It started with hate. But it didn’t end there.

Today we remember the six million men, women and children murdered in the Holocaust.

Today, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, we also mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. On this day, and every day, we honor the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust, as well as the millions of other victims of Nazism.
