I wanted to follow up from my last tweets. I’ve always believed competitive equity & inclusivity are both essential in sport. The current system doesn’t adequately balance these important principles, which often leads to frustration and heated exchanges, and it didn’t help for me…

While an apology was necessary, this effort from Simone Biles is sterile and weird, especially coming so many hours after she attacked Riley Gaines with such ferocity.
In just a few tweets, Simone Biles revealed a lot about herself, and that can't be undone. Her "apology" for doesn't seem sincere. Her wordy statement seems like a poorly crafted concoction of a bad PR team.
High school and college athletes are old enough to understand when someone has an unfair advantage. They aren't victims of a "flawed system." Males participating in sports as females are exploiting the system.
The victims are the females.
