A long-awaited comeback for women's professional baseball starts with a moment few saw coming.

This was very unfortunate. Martha Reeves is a legend.

Martha Reeves is 85 years old. Her performance of the National Anthem was off, but she wasn't being purposely disrespectful. I credit her for proudly singing our anthem. That performance should not define her as a singer.
The Women's Professional Baseball League deserves attention, not a painful rendition of the National Anthem.
