Clancy Juror Paula Devlin has gone public with her account of the jury deliberations, including the struggle with the one holdout juror she insisted would not listen to them. However, she added, “We knew that this was a turning point, and this would be something that could change…

...That would seem to confirm the view of many of us that this case may have been lost in voir dire and that some jurors viewed this as much as a cause as a case.

The "turning point" here was the murders of Cora, Dawson, and Callan Clancy. Instead, Paula Devlin and ten other jurors focused on their opportunity to embark on a crusade.
