Macklemore Kicked Off Ed Sheeran's Tour

Rapper Macklemore says he has been dropped from Ed Sheeran's tour after turning the stage into his own political soapbox.

Macklemore says Robert Kraft told Sheeran that the rapper must be dropped or he wouldn't be able to perform at Gillette Stadium.

Macklemore is speaking out after being dropped from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour, seemingly placing blame on New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, saying that the billionaire rallied other stadium owners to ban him from performing at their venues:

Macklemore got kicked off Ed Sheeran’s tour and wrote a full-blown pity manifesto about it. 😂

Venues didn’t want him on the remaining shows after he turned his opening slots into “Free Palestine” rallies. The promoter pulled him.

But apparently that wasn’t enough.

Actions have consequences. When performers choose to get political during a concert, there's going to be fallout.
If Ed Sheeran wanted to claim to be apolitical, he couldn't permit Macklemore to remain on his tour.
