Tucker Carlson - Live Response After the State of the Union

Bill O'Reilly Has Had Enough

Clearly, the American people would be dramatically better off if the Democrat Cabal had failed to install Biden as president.

We would likely still have peace and prosperity if President Trump had been reelected in 2020.

We've all suffered because of the War on Trump, but we've also become aware of just how dirty and corrupt our government is.

We must take back control of our government - of the people, by the people, FOR the people.

Sean Hannity and Debbie Schlussel

Debbie Schlussel has accused Sean Hannity of sexual harassment.

From the Daily Beast:

Sean Hannity is the latest Fox News personality facing allegations of sexual harassment.

During a Friday interview with Tulsa, Oklahoma-based radio host Pat Campbell, former Fox News guest Debbie Schlussel accused Hannity of inviting her to his hotel room before and after a debate with a pro-Palestinian guest in Detroit. Schlussel said she rejected Hannity’s alleged advances and that she was never invited on his show again.

...Shortly before the show, Hannity allegedly told Schlussel they would team up against another panelist. But Schlussel told Campbell that the move was a “head-fake” against her.

“Sean came up to me and said we’re gonna double-team (which was a weird phrase to use) this Palestinian guy that I was up against on the show,” Schlussel said. “And then every time I tried to open my mouth and say something, they yelled at me and said obey your host, you can’t say anything or else we’re gonna shut off your microphone.”

After the show, Schlussel claims Hannity made another advance on her. “My dad and my brother were there in the green room,” Schlussel said, claiming that Hannity “tried to get me to go back with him to the hotel after the show.”

Schlussel claimed she rejected the offer a second time, and was not invited on any future Hannity programs.

“After that, I wasn’t booked on his show again. And he called me and yelled at me,” Schlussel said. “I got a very weird feeling about the whole thing, and I kind of knew I wouldn’t be back on his show.”
Here is Hannity's statement on Schlussel's accusations:
LET ME BE CLEAR – THE COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A RADIO SHOW THIS WEEK by this individual are 100% false and a complete fabrication.

This individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch my reputation.

The individual has not just slandered me over the years but many people who this individual disagrees with.

This individual desperately seeks attention by any means necessary, including making unfounded personal attacks and using indefensible and outrageous political rhetoric.

My patience with this individual is over. I have retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of action we will be taking against this individual.

In this fiercely divided & vindictive political climate, I will no longer allow slander and lies about me to go unchallenged, as I see a coordinated effort afoot to now silence those with conservative views. I will fight every single lie about me by all legal means available to me as an American.

If Hannity is being slandered by Schlussel, he should sue.

Enough is enough.

I don't know what Hannity did or didn't do, but clearly, there is an effort to silence conservative voices. Conservatives are under attack. This is war.

Conservatives and liberals are not held to the same standards.

That is wrong.

JIMMY FALLON: I saw that earlier today O'Reilly actually met with Pope Francis at the Vatican. When he saw O'Reilly go into confession, the next guy in line said, 'You know what? I'll come back tomorrow.'

Bill O'Reilly Fired

Bill O'Reilly lost his job at FOX News.

Here's the text of the internal memo sent to FOX News employees:

Colleagues,

We'd like to address questions about Bill O'Reilly's future at Fox News. After a thorough and careful review of allegations against him, the Company and Bill O'Reilly have agreed that Mr. O'Reilly will not return to the Fox News Channel.

This decision follows an extensive review done in collaboration with outside counsel.

By ratings standards, Bill O'Reilly is one of the most accomplished TV personalities in the history of cable news. In fact, his success by any measure is indisputable. Fox News has demonstrated again and again the strength of its talent bench. We have full confidence that the network will continue to be a powerhouse in cable news.

Lastly, and most importantly, we want to underscore our consistent commitment to fostering a work environment built on the values of trust and respect.

Best,

Rupert
Lachlan
James

Here's a statement from O'Reilly:

I was not a member of The O'Reilly Factor audience. FOX News canning him has no impact on me in terms of my TV viewing habits.

I haven't followed the details of O'Reilly's behavior and the allegations, but without question, sexual harassment is unacceptable in the workplace.

What bothers me about the firing is the double standard that we see again and again when it comes to conservatives.

I won't defend O'Reilly's behavior. However, I don't like that a liberal could probably get away with this sort of sexual harassment.

It's been nearly twenty years since Leftists defended Bill Clinton. Even today, he's no pariah. He's embraced by the Left. He's embraced by the Bush family!

The list of Leftist sexual abusers is long. Ted Kennedy was involved in a young woman's death and he survived politically. He's considered a hero by the Left.

Anthony Weiner didn't survive his scandal, probably because of the underage stuff, the many photos Weiner himself supplied, and his refusal to stop his reckless behavior after he was given another chance. He's an exception though.

I don't like that the Left succeeded in getting O'Reilly off the air. But in the end, O'Reilly must take responsibility for his downfall.

Chris Matthews: Ivanka and Jared, Saddam Hussein's Sons

Chris Matthews, MSNBC, always manages to sink to a new low.

CHRIS MATTHEWS:
You know, we kid, I kid about everything, but, you know, Uday and Qusay working for Saddam Hussein-- you couldn't go to a restaurant and have eye contact with one of those guys without getting killed. These people are really powerful. Imagine getting into a fight in the office with Jared or Ivanka. They have enormous power. And they're always gonna be there.

From the Daily Wire:
Uday and Qusay Hussein were two of the most evil individuals ever to walk the earth. To compare those two inhuman creatures – even in an oblique fashion – to Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner is unconscionable. It's not only shockingly inappropriate, but it dulls the American people's intellectual and emotional senses to the reality of wickedness.

Just as comparing President Donald Trump's policies to those implemented during the Holocaust demeans those who suffered under the Third Reich, comparing Ivanka Trump and Kushner to the Hussein brothers cheapens the agony of all who were tortured, raped, and murdered under the late-Ba'athist regime.
Chris Matthews is truly a disgrace.

Bill O'Reilly apologized for his comment comparing Maxine Waters' wig to James Brown's hair. While insulting, O'Reilly's dig is nothing compared to what Matthews said.

Will Matthews apologize for his horrible remarks about the First Daughter and her husband?

Unlikely.
