In a video, Adams, said he will not run in the Democratic primary in June because the case “dragged on too long” while the “false accusations were held over me."
“I firmly believe that this city is better served by truly independent leadership, not leaders pulled at by the extremists at the far left or the far right, but instead those rooted in the common middle, the place where the vast majority of New Yorkers are firmly planted," Adams said.

Clearly, Democrat mayors of "sanctuary cities" are struggling to manage the demands of the illegal immigrant invasion. Funds that should be used to address the needs of American citizens are being sucked dry by the crisis. Citizens are falling victim to gang members and criminals welcomed into the country by Biden, Harris, and the Democrats.
Rather than waging war against President Trump and his policies, Eric Adams wants to do what's best for his city. That means working with Tom Homan and the Trump administration.
Other Democrat mayors should follow Adams' lead.

Shooting at Bronx Subway Station

From the New York Post:

A man was killed and at least five others – including two teenagers – were injured when gunfire erupted at a Bronx train station during rush-hour Monday afternoon, police and law enforcement sources said.
As many as 10 shots rang out at the Mount Eden Avenue station after a fight broke out aboard a northbound 4 train at around 4:40 p.m., creating “total pandemonium,” according to witnesses and sources.
Police confirmed a 35-year-old man was killed in the shooting. His identity was not released pending family notification.
A 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, a 29-year-old woman and two men – ages 71 and 28 – were also struck by bullets, police said. All five surviving victims were hospitalized in stable condition.

It's dangerous to take mass transit.
