It does not protect him being expelled from Texas State University.
People have the right to say vile things. They don't have the right to behave that way without consequences.

"Terroristic threats have never been legal."
Threatening to kill someone is not protected by the First Amendment. That sort of speech is not protected.
Moreover, as Sen. Tim Scott says, "Your First Amendment rights do not include a right to a job!"
Employers can determine whether or not they want to employ individuals making vile comments in a public forum, on a social media platform. Not every business or institution wants to employ people cheering assassination and calling for more people to be put to death.

Today, the Texas House of Representatives passed RINO Dade Phelan’s bill to CRIMINALIZE political memes.

The bill would imprison people for 1 year if meme does not have a disclaimer.

Parker Jensen and the American Flag

Parker Jensen, a student at @BaltCoPS and a prospective US Marine, was SUSPENDED for 7 DAYS after he asked why 2 classrooms weren't displaying an American flag.

Jensen is now suing the district for violating his 1A rights.

If three police squads were called and he was suspended for seven days for just raising his concerns with the Baltimore County Board of Education, then officials in Baltimore are nuts.
