Wordsmith, at Sparks from the Anvil, relayed some information that should concern any blogger.
He writes:
Apparently, Flopping Aces was hacked earlier today. It seems Curt's excellent post on the CIA leaker, Mary McCarthy, struck a raw nerve with some childish liberal hacks; since they couldn't hold their own in debating or conceding this one, they decided to show how much they love and respect the concept of free speech by hacking into Curt's blog, trying to shut him up and shut him down.
But Curt's already back at the helm. Please pay him a visit of support. He's an outstanding blogger; and he has the most thorough round up of the Mary McCarthy story, bar none.
Resorting to cyber attacks is the surest sign of intellectual impotence among these libs, and anyone else for that matter.
They apparently attempt to stifle others' right to free speech because they are so woefully inadequate when it comes to presenting well-reasoned arguments and defending their own positions.
Although in this case the attack was on a conservative blog, that has nothing to do with my uneasiness over it.
Bloggers should not be targeted with technological abuse and other harassment just for expressing their views.
This isn't China.
I really don't understand hackers.
No conscience -- that's scary.
