The Thanks We Get

These photos out of Kuwait today are truly disturbing to me.

Is the Gulf War such a distant memory for these protesters that they don't understand what it's like to be under attack by a hostile regime?

Has the man holding the sign "Bloody Bush Behave Yourself" forgotten that it was the United States and its coalition that liberated Kuwait just fifteen years ago? What would his life be like if not for the American blood spilled in the deserts of Kuwait and Iraq?

During the Gulf War, Iraq launched missiles into Israel, hoping to draw that country into the war.

How did Israel respond to those completely unprovoked attacks?

Israel didn't. The country took missile attacks in the name of Kuwait's liberation.

So today when I see Kuwaitis protesting Israel and the United States, I am disgusted by their ingratitude; and, frankly, I'm astonished by the depth of their hate for the Israelis. Their support for terrorism sickens me.

Look at the faces in the photos. That's what hate looks like.

Did I say that the pictures of the Kuwaitis protesting Israel and standing in solidarity with terrorists are the ones that bothered me MOST?

No. Reread my post. I never said that they were the MOST disturbing. You've unfairly attributed that opinion to me.

By the way, I do NOT find the photos that I posted to be the MOST disturbing of the images out of Israel and Lebanon.
