Hugh Hewitt's brief interview with Ron Paul is an eyeopener.
Some highlights:
--Paul is "flabbergasted" by the energy of his supporters.
--Paul says, "Sometimes it's sort of amazing to me and a little bit frightening that we can galvanize so many people."
--Paul almost rules out the possiblity of a third party candidacy. "To me it's like 99.9 per cent. I have no plans to do that."
--When asked if he'll support whoever the Republican nominee is, Paul replies, "That would very questionable."
--Paul did NOT support George W. Bush in 2000 or 2004.
--Paul doesn't recall if he supported Bob Dole in 1996.
--Paul has supported Libertarian candidates "on occasion."
