Chris Tigani, a Delaware businessman who served two years in prison for illegal campaign donations to Joe Biden, is speaking out to ensure Hunter Biden is held to the same legal standard that landed himself and other Americans who committed similar offenses behind bars.

"They were protecting the Bidens then, they’re protecting the Bidens now, and I think the evidence is overwhelming," Tigani said on "The Story" Tuesday.

In 2007, Tigani, a prominent Delaware liquor distributor, said he was approached by Hunter Biden and his late brother Beau, who requested $75,000 to cover the cost of billboards in Iowa for Joe Biden's unsuccessful presidential bid.

When Tigani agreed to raise the necessary funds, Dennis Toner, Biden's campaign finance director at the time, allegedly encouraged him to bundle the money using donations from his employees that he would later reimburse from his company to circumvent the technical limits on how much an individual can donate to one candidate.

"Dennis came over and said, how many employees do you have that you can trust? I said all of them," Tigani told "The Story." "He said have them write a check and reimburse them."

Tigani told the New York Post that he was unaware at the time that it was illegal to solicit his employees for campaign donations and then reimburse them from company funds.

Chris Tigani has firsthand experience with the Bidens. He spent two years in prison. He knows the Bidens are above the law.

There are so many crises created by Biden and his regime that it's difficult to give appropriate attention to them all.

Biden gave tens of billions of dollars of weapons to our enemies.

He left Americans behind, creating a hostage crisis, because he refused to adjust an arbitrary date for withdrawal.

Biden is responsible for bringing thousands of unvetted "refugees" to the United States.

Biden is responsible for the deaths of 13 American service members in the unforgivable chaos of his stunningly botched withdrawal.

The Biden of 2007 would have handled things differently.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) has reportedly not been invited to attend funeral services for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), her onetime running mate.

NBC News reported Wednesday that Palin had not been invited. A source within the Palin family told NBC News that “out of respect to Senator McCain and his family we have nothing to add at this point.”

Sarah Palin and her family are handling the matter with a great deal of grace.

I can't think of this sort of bitterness surrounding the funeral of any other public figure.

Ir's very unfortunate that the service to honor John McCain's life is being used as a weapon to hurt others.

More than a year ago, Roseanne Barr called out Louis C.K. for his sexual misconduct. She also called out Judd Apatow for staying silent about it.

At the White House Easter Egg Roll, during the National Anthem, Melania Trump appears to give her husband a little nudge to put his hand over his heart.

OH MY GOD! Trump is unfit to be president!

Of course, the media were all over this. Twitter went nuts.

There wasn't the same sort of coverage when Obama failed to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem while he was campaigning in Iowa in 2007. He just stood there.



Obama made plenty of missteps as president, some truly awful, but he was given a pass again and again.

With Trump, it's nonstop. Everything he does is criticized. The Internet amplifies all the constant criticism.

The dramatic contrast between the way Obama was treated and the way Trump is judged is very revealing.

The Obama administration said it has seen no evidence of hackers tampering with the 2016 presidential election, even as recount proceedings began in Wisconsin.

“We stand behind our election results, which accurately reflect the will of the American people,” a senior administration official told POLITICO late Friday.

“The federal government did not observe any increased level of malicious cyber activity aimed at disrupting our electoral process on election day,” the official added. “We believe our elections were free and fair from a cybersecurity perspective.”

Obama is making Jill Stein look like a fool and a tool of the Democrat party.

I really don't think Obama likes Hillary very much. I know he considers her "likable enough," but not enough to go with the "hackers swayed the election" narrative.

John Kasich Votes For John McCain

During the Republican primaries, John Kasich vowed to support the Republican nominee for president.

Here's a shocker: On Monday, Kasich voted for John McCain.

The vote essentially is a symbolic gesture. Because McCain is not among the 18 certified write-in candidates in Ohio, Kasich's vote for president will not count.

So, in addition to going back on his word, Kasich decided it would be better to just throw away his vote.

Such a principled move!
