Hardball: Michelle Obama Makeover Promo

How low can MSNBC go?

Yesterday, a truly bizarre Hardball with Chris Matthews promo was yanked for "inappropriate" images.

The spot was promoting a segment on Michelle Obama's makeover. It featured female silhouetted dancers!

What's especially weird is that Matthews has been swooning over Barack and Michelle Obama for months.

When contacted, an MSNBC representative said the ad was pulled after only running "once or twice" because it was deemed "inappropriate." The full statement:
The artwork should not have been used, it was inappropriate. We pulled the spot this morning and it was re-done without those
images.

No kidding it was inappropriate!

The images are demeaning in this context. They certainly don't show much respect for that strong woman Michelle Obama, First Lady hopeful.

Can you image what the reaction would be if FOX News aired an ad like that?

The Obama campaign would have another hissy fit.
