Rosario C. Fuentez

It really hasn't been that long since four people were shot dead on a Milwaukee street in the early morning hours of the Fourth of July.

It seems like the murders happened weeks ago rather than just over a week.

And no one in custody for the crimes.

Not any more.

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man faces felony charges in connection with the Fourth of July shootings that left four dead and two injured, sources said late Sunday night.

Milwaukee police on Friday arrested Rosario C. Fuentez, who was charged with four counts of first-degree reckless homicide, online court records show.

...Police think members of two other gangs shot at a group of more than 100 people in retaliation for an earlier offense committed by the Murda Mobb.

According to TMJ4:

Police are also reportedly looking for an additional two shooters.

...Fuentez has been arrested before for domestic abuse and cocaine trafficking.

What brave soul talked?

Was the
$10,000 reward being offered by Miller/Coors the push that someone needed to do the right thing?

It really doesn't matter. What matters is that one person has been arrested in the Fourth of July shootings, and police are seeking two more suspects.

Its possible that Milwaukee officials may be a step closer to solving the crimes and bringing a murderer to justice.
