Republican U.S. Rep. Paul Broun has expressed regret for drawing comparisons between Barack Obama's proposed civilian national security force with those in Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.
Audio.
Did Broun call Obama "Hitler"? No.
Nonetheless, he's getting slammed by the Left.
How dare Broun question Obama's plan!
Broun did call Obama a Marxist. He has apologized for using that term.
I think it's perfectly legitimate for people to question what Obama means by a "civilian national security force" without being attacked.
We have just endured eight years of hearing American Leftists and their comrades around the world charge Bush with being a dictator. He's been called "Hitler." He's been depicted as Hitler. He's been burned in effigy as Hitler. He's been accused of shredding the Constitution and grabbing power.
U.S. elected officials have chimed in. They've been just as brutal. Sen. Russ Feingold proudly mocked President Bush as "King of the United States."
Were there any apologies for all of that?
Nooooo.
But expect to be pummeled if you express concerns over Obama's civilian national security force or mandatory civil service as defined by Rahm Emanuel.
WARNING: Question Obama at your own risk.
Dissent in Obama's America is dangerous.

I remember Clinton's America and the Dems were very touchy if you said anything against him. It was OK for him to call an elected president "stupid" to his face but not OK to say anything against Clinton. There's always been a double standard because they've always been so sure their politically correct opinions are indeed correct.
