Rahm Emanuel Says Men Can't Become Women, Sarah McBride Calls 'Overcorrection'

Rahm Emanuel knows that Americans are rejecting Democrats. He's simply doing what he can to appeal to all the voters Democrats have lost. Is that an "overcorrection"?

Biden Struggles with Umbrella in Japan

Rahm Emanuel knows Biden has dementia and will stand in the pouring rain without realizing he's holding a closed umbrella.

Biden can't manage an umbrella yet we're supposed to believe he can function at G7 meetings.

Nope.

I'm on the same page as Rahm Emanuel.

This is that outrageous.

Chicago: 63 Shot, 10 Dead

That's a lot of bloodshed.

Anyone care?

Linda Sarsour - Shameless

The Leftists/Democrats live by Rahm Emanuel's words:

Hurricane Harvey is a crisis. They certainly aren't going to let it go to waste.

Linda Sarsour solicited on Twitter for Hurricane Harvey relief funds but directed donors to "to a fundraising website maintained by the Texas Organizing Project Education Fund."

From the Washington Examiner:
The Texas Organizing Project Education Fund is not a disaster relief group. Rather, it's an activist organization, whose chief focus is advancing political goals through elections.
She clearly misled her followers.

Shameless.

Michelle Obama, Children, and Gun Violence

Michelle Obama is irresponsible.

She deals in outrageous exaggeration.

One could classify her ridiculous comments as lies.

From The Hill:

First lady Michelle Obama said that students at a high school just five miles from her family's Chicago home told her that “every day they wake up and wonder whether they’re going to make it out of school alive.”

In an interview with "CBS Sunday Morning" that will air this weekend, the first lady said that when she met students after delivering a speech last month on gun violence, she was struck by the extent to which fear dominated the children's everyday lives.

“I mean, every single kid worries about their own death, or the death of someone, every single day,” Obama said.
Oh, good grief.

If the violence in Chicago is so bad, why are the parents permitting their children to go to school? If I believed my children might not "make it out of school alive," there is no way I would allow them to go.

Why do these parents of Chicago high school kids vote idiots into elected office? Perhaps some officials willing to get tough on crime and enforce the law would be a good idea. Enough with the games.

"[E]very day they wake up and wonder whether they’re going to make it out of school alive," so says Michelle.

Really?

If it's so dangerous, if the possibility of death for these kids is so real, shouldn't she insist that her husband, the president, call in the National Guard to protect them? Shouldn't Obama call the governor of Illinois or his buddy Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and demand that they take immediate action so the kids manage to "make it out of school alive"?

Either Michelle is engaging in an intentional perversion of reality for political purposes or she's failing to demand action in a situation that qualifies as a true emergency.

Either way, Michelle is behaving inexcusably. Shameful dereliction of duty, First Lady.

Rahm Emanuel: Organizing for 2016?

Rahm Emanuel for president of the United States in 2016?

From the Daily Beast:

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is said by well-connected Democrats to be considering the idea of running for president if Hillary Clinton opts out of the 2016 race.

The 53-year-old Emanuel, who is busy raising money for his 2015 reelection campaign in the Windy City, has had discussions both over the phone and face to face in the past month with Democratic Party donors and fundraisers about a possible White House run, according to sources.

It’s unclear who raised the subject—Emanuel or the donors—and the mayor’s press secretary initially didn’t offer clarity on who said what to whom Hours after this story was published, however, Tarah Cooper emailed denying that the mayor "raised or entertained" the subject of a White House run.
I can't stand the perpetual campaign.

As much as I want Obama's second term to be history, I don't want to think about the 2016 election.

Whatever Emanuel has planned for 2016, it's clear that he hasn't retreated to local politics. The Obama "campaign" is using him to advance Obama's agenda. They apparently consider him to be a popular figure.

Here's an email from Obama's campaign machine, Organizing For Action, formerly known as Organizing for America, meaning Organizing for Obama:

Mary --

On Tuesday, President Obama laid out a plan to create jobs and strengthen the middle class.

This isn't going to be an easy legislative fight, but we're not ones to sit out when the going gets tough -- especially for a fight as important as this.

This Saturday, Chicago mayor and former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel is hosting a tele-town hall to talk about the President's proposed plan and what we can do to make it happen.

Sign up today to join the call this Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

You'll be joining supporters around the country -- plus some of the staff at Organizing for Action -- to get the info you need on the President's plan and how we can get Congress to act on it.

The President is counting on us.

RSVP now for the tele-town hall on Saturday, and you'll get all the info you need to join the call:

Chicago Teachers Strike

Chicago public school teachers, the highest-paid teachers in the nation, are still on strike.

From the Associated Press:

For the first time in a quarter century, Chicago teachers walked out of the classroom Monday, taking a bitter contract dispute over evaluations and job security to the streets of the nation's third-largest city -- and to a national audience -- less than a week after most schools opened for fall.

The walkout forced hundreds of thousands of parents to scramble for a place to send idle children and created an unwelcome political distraction for Mayor Rahm Emanuel. In a year when labor unions have been losing ground nationwide, the implications were sure to extend far beyond Chicago, particularly for districts engaged in similar debates.

The two sides resumed negotiations Monday but failed to reach a settlement, meaning the strike will extend into at least a second day.

...The union had vowed to strike Monday if there was no agreement on a new contract, even though the district had offered a 16 percent raise over four years and the two sides had essentially agreed on a longer school day. With an average annual salary of $76,000, Chicago teachers are among the highest-paid in the nation, according to the National Council on Teacher Quality.

I thought Obama's statement on the striking teachers in his hometown was interesting.

Oh, wait. Obama made no public comment about the strike.

What a leader!

Illinois desperately needs a Scott Walker. More specifically, Illinois needs voters to elect a Scott Walker.

How long will the teachers strike, displaying a most unattractive hissy fit?

Who will blink? Who knows?

Whatever happens, this strike puts Obama in a very uncomfortable position.

It's a political problem for Obama the candidate. Obama can't offend unions, but he can't abandon Rahm Emanuel and his current cabinet members with ties to Chicago's public schools.

What's Obama to do?

Wisconsin voters did what Illinois voters won't do.

We defeated union muscle and did the responsible thing. We reelected Scott Walker. He offered fair, realistic solutions to Wisconsin's fiscal mess and we supported him.

Success! Yes we can!

Illinois - No you won't.

Eric Holder, Oak Creek

Why is Eric Holder showing up at the memorial service for the victims of the shootings at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek?

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder will speak at Friday's memorial service for the victims of the shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin.

Six people were killed and four were wounded during the Sunday attack before the gunman shot himself in the head.

The service will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. in the gymnasium of Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road.

I'm uncomfortable with Obama sending Holder.

Is this truly a memorial service or is it a political opportunity?

As Rahm Emanuel taught Obama, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste." I suppose that's why Holder has been sent on this mission.

I wonder if Eric "Fast and Furious" Holder attended the service for slain border patrol agent Brian Terry.

I don't think so.

It's going to be very awkward if Holder talks about guns. It's going to be awkward no matter what he says.

Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day

Americans are showing their support for the Bill of Rights and our basic freedoms by going to Chick-fil-A.

That has to really tick off the Leftists who believe in free speech only if it aligns with their own beliefs.

From ABC News:

People across the country are flocking to Chick-fil-A today, not because of the fast-food chain's chicken sandwiches, but because of its CEO's vocal support of traditional marriage.

Nearly 600,000 supporters signed up to celebrate Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day today, which former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee created to counter a boycott launched by gay marriage activists last week after Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy said he was "guilty as charged" for not supporting gay marriage.

"The goal is simple," Huckabee wrote on the Facebook page for the event. "Let's affirm a business that operates on Christian principles and whose executives are willing to take a stand for the Godly values we espouse by simply showing up and eating at Chick Fil-A on Wednesday, August 1."

Courtney Clem, 22, strolled over to the Chick-fil-A in Crystal City, Va., to pick up lunch for her entire office and show her support. Clem said she wanted to eat at Chick-fil-A today not only because she supports traditional marriage but because she supports the First Amendment.

"We want to support their right to an opinion," Clem said. "I do support that opinion. And the right. Even if it was an opinion I disagreed with, I'd be here today."

This about free speech.

I'm glad the response has been so incredible.

Chick-fil-A's CEO has a right to his opinion.

The notion that he should be run out of business for adhering to his religious beliefs is chilling.

The Philadelphia City Council is considering a resolution to condemn the company for what councilman Jim Kenney called their "Anti-American attitude."

D.C. councilman Marion Barry tweeted that he does not support "hate chicken," Boston's Mayor Thomas Menino said there is "no place for your company" in his city and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said the restaurant's "values are not Chicago values."

The Chicago Republican Party is making a formal complaint against Emanuel today, alleging that the mayor has "broken civil rights laws pertaining to religious freedom and the First Amendment in denying Chick-fil-A a permit to operate its business in the City of Chicago."

This isn't about gay rights.

This is about our precious liberty.

I'm proud Americans are standing up for freedom.

This witch hunt, as witch hunts often do, has backfired.

Menino and Emanuel look like fools.

I'd like to see Obama eat at Chick-fil-A today, and show that he believes in the First Amendment.

Oh, that's right. He doesn't, especially when it comes to the free exercise of religion and oppressing Catholics.

Tom Barrett and Rahm Emanuel

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is holding a fundraising event featuring Rahm Emanuel.

Tickets for the luncheon are not cheap.

Is Rahmbo a big enough name to pull in this sort of money?

Here are the details:

An individual ticket costs $400.

I wonder how many voters in the city of Milwaukee could afford that?

The event is not for the 99-percenters.

This will be a very elite gathering.

I hope Emanuel manages to control his temper and keep a lid on the profanity.

Maybe the attendees want to see Emanuel boil over.

What an attraction!

Neo-Nazi Rally, West Allis

Neo-Nazis held a news conference yesterday to assure the public that they plan to have a peaceful rally today.

Video, from FOX 6 News:

A group called the National Socialist Movement has planned a rally in "defense of white America" for 2 p.m. at the West Allis City Hall. The Chicago-based group claims the rally is in response to mob attacks where whites were beaten by African-Americans at the Wisconsin State Fair.

An hour prior to the neo-Nazi rally, a coalition of 30 community groups plan to have a counter-rally.

This is sad.

The crime on opening day of the State Fair was horrible. The racial component of the attacks was disgusting.

A neo-Nazi group responding with a "defense of white America" rally is also sad.

It reminds me of the famous quote from Rahm Emanuel, Obama's former chief of staff: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste."

By staging this rally, the National Socialist Movement is using the attacks on innocent people to further its own agenda.

Very sad.

Keep hating.

Gordon Hintz: 'You Are F---ing Dead'

UPDATE, March 1, 2011: Wisconsin State Representative Who Was Told She’s ‘F**king Dead’ Speaks Out with Laura Ingraham

Here's the audio of Laura Ingraham's interview with Michelle Litjens:

________________

DEMOCRAT Wisconsin State Representative Gordon Hintz has serious behavioral issues. He does not conduct himself in a manner befitting an elected official.

Photo: Gordon Hintz

He has an abusive streak when it comes to how he interacts with women.

Last week, we learned that Hintz was cited under a city sexual misconduct ordinance.

From the
Appleton Post-Crescent:

Appleton police say a municipal citation they issued to state Rep. Gordon Hintz earlier this month is connected to a prostitution investigation involving an Appleton massage parlor.

The 37-year-old Oshkosh Democrat was arrested Feb. 10 and cited the next day under a city sexual misconduct ordinance. He is scheduled to appear April 27 in front of an Outagamie County court commissioner.

...Records say Hintz was accused of violating an Appleton city ordinance against touching or offering to touch sexual parts.

Police searched Heavenly Touch Massage Parlor, 342 W. Wisconsin Ave., and a nearby residence, 1319½ N. Division St., on Jan. 28. Investigators had staked out the properties for several days after receiving a tip that illegal activity was taking place at the home.

The raid netted six arrests, and police seized a vehicle and other property. Four women were booked into the Outagamie County Jail and two other women were arrested but not jailed.

"We made a number of arrests … and now (we issued) the ticket to Mr. Hintz," DeWall said. "But it's still an open investigation."

OK. That's creepy.

As creepy as Hintz's alleged behavior at the Heavenly Touch Massage Parlor is, I find what he said to REPUBLICAN Wisconsin State Representative Michelle Litjens to be even worse.

Photo: Michelle Litjens

Last Friday, after the Assembly engrosssed Governor Scott Walker's budget repair plan,
DEMOCRAT Hintz threatened Litjens.

Hintz said to Litjens: "You are f---ing dead!"

Hintz didn't just use an expletive when speaking to Litjens. That's bad enough. But what's worse is how he bullied her in a very frightening fashion.

"You are f---ing dead!"

"F---ING DEAD"!

What is wrong with him?

Does he aspire to be Rahm Emanuel?

Hintz treats women abusively. Clearly, he fails to show a female colleague in the Assembly the respect she deserves.

"You are f---ing dead!" is not an appropriate way to express disagreement on a matter before the Assembly.

Has Hintz been spending too much time hanging out with the union thugs and
socialists occupying the Capitol?

Speaking of unions, I wonder if the "workers" at the Heavenly Touch Massage Parlor are protected by a union. Do they have collective bargaining rights for wages? What about health care and pension benefits?

Certainly, Hintz reacts very passionately when it comes to protecting workers.

I assume Hintz cares very deeply about the working conditions at the Heavenly Touch Massage Parlor.

______________

UPDATE: Wisconsin Rep. Gordon Hintz apologizes for comments made on Assembly floor following budget vote
Hintz Monday said he called Litjens to apologize but said he could not “confirm that quote.” He said his comments came following 58 hours of debate on the Assembly floor and after the Republicans broke procedural rules in taking the vote before many Democrats had a chance to vote.

“I believe my response was shock. The only way they were going to pass this bill was by ignoring and shredding rules of the Assembly,” Hintz said. “I apologized when I learned my comments may have been taken personally by someone.”

That's not much of an apology.

"You are f---ing dead."

His comments MAY have been taken personally?

Hintz, when tell someone "You are f---ing dead," expect the individual to take it personally.

Good grief.

Leno: 'It's Cold' Jokes

JAY LENO: It is freezing across most of the United States. Two feet of snow in the Midwest. The good news: These are the first shovel-ready jobs Obama's come up with since he was president.

It is so cold in Minneapolis Brett Favre was texting pictures of his chestnuts roasting over an open fire.

It was so cold in Chicago Rahm Emanuel said, 'I'm glad I don't live here.'

JAY LENO: A Wisconsin postal carrier has been arrested for delivering mail in the nude. You know, it's bad enough getting junk mail. Now we have to see the mailman's junk? What's that all about?

Is December the best time to be delivering mail in the nude in Wisconsin? He must be a pretty confident guy. You're not gonna look your best in the cold weather.

Rahm Emanuel, Bill Kelly, and Jay Levine

Are these Chicago reporters, professional members of the press, or Democrat operatives working on behalf of Rahm Emanuel, or union thugs charged with shielding Emanuel?

All of the above?

They certainly don't appear to be behaving like objective journalists, protecting Emanuel from answering legitimate, albeit tough, questions.

One reporter, Jay Levine of CBS 2, exercises union thug tactics, threatening Bill Kelly of AM 560 WIND.

Levine growls at Kelly, "Let him finish or I'm gonna deck you."

Whoa! Hey there, sport, settle down.

Being a journalist in Chicago can be a dangerous profession.

Just another example of the Democrat-Media Complex at work.

Read Dana Loesch's "CBS2 Reporter Threatens Journalist Over Rahm Questioning."

UPDATE, October 14, 2010: "William Kelly on Chicago Reporter Attack: 'I Was in Their Way'"

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Leno: Rahm Emanuel, Mayor of Chicago

JAY LENO: The president's former chief of staff Rahm Emanuel returned to Chicago, where he's going to run for mayor, which is great news for Chicago. Because if he brings the same leadership skills he brought to the White House, the city can look forward to a trillion dollar deficit and 12 percent unemployment.
