From FOX News:
The mother of Levi Johnston, the Wasilla teenager who is the father of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's daughter's unborn child, was arrested Thursday on drug charges.
The Anchorage Daily News reported Friday that Sherry L. Johnston, 42, was arrested by Alaska State Troopers at her Wasilla home and charged with six felony counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance.
The arrest was the result of an "undercover narcotics investigation," according to police.
Few details were available. Johnston was released on $5,000 bond, according to the paper.
...Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin have said they intend to marry in the summer. Their baby is due Saturday, according to the Anchorage Daily News.
More, from the Anchorage Daily News:
When asked about the arrest, [Gov. Sarah] Palin's spokesman, Bill McAllister, issued the following statement by e-mail: "This is not a state government matter. Therefore the governor's communications staff will not be providing comment or scheduling interview opportunities."
Sarah Palin is not responsible for the behavior of Sherry Johnston.
Johnston's arrest in no way negatively reflects on her.
It would be completely inappropriate for Lefties to use it as fodder to attack Palin, though I'm sure that won't stop them.
If they want to attack someone for drug use, perhaps they should go after Barack Obama.
The president-elect admitted to breaking the law, though the details of his activities are sketchy at best. I think a little investigative reporting is in order on Obama's involvement with controlled substances.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. - Al Gore’s son was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of possessing marijuana and prescription drugs after deputies pulled him over for speeding, authorities said.
I heard at school, that people who smoke drugs go crazy and lose-cells. Thank God this woman was put away, so she cannot hurt herself with it again!
