TIME's Person of the Year: Obama

Barack Hussein Obama is TIME's person of the year.

If you didn't see that coming, you are clueless.

TIME’s Person of the Year is bestowed by the editors on the person or persons who most affected the news and our lives, for good or ill, and embodied what was important about the year. See who made the grade over TIME's first eight decades — from aviators and ayatollahs to youths and, of course, You.

Of course, there's no question that TIME considers Obama to be a good guy. He doesn't fall in the Hitler or Ayatollah Khomeini "ill" category.

The professionals at TIME are so gaga for Obama that they hope to cash in on the millions of others gone gaga for Obama.

I believe just winning an election does not qualify anyone for being something special. His rhetoric is not a substitute for accomplishment.
Wings on a donkey won't make him fly!
