OPEN FOR QUESTIONS

The White House is Open for Questions.

Mitch Stewart, Director, Organizing for America, explains:

Friend --

I wanted to tell you about an exciting new feature just launched on the White House website called "Open for Questions."

Here's how it works -- President Obama is inviting everyone to ask a question about the economy and to rate other questions up or down.

On Thursday morning, the President will conduct an online town hall on the economy and answer some of the most popular questions live.

Watch a video of the President explaining this new feature and be a part of it now.

"Open for Questions" is an opportunity to open up the White House to all Americans.

It's an experiment designed to encourage transparency and accountability by giving you a direct line to the White House.

This first round will deal with the economy. Americans deserve to know what their government is doing to get our economy back on track. But it's up to you to participate and make this experiment a success.

Join the discussion now:

Thanks, and remember to check back Thursday to watch the President answer some of your questions live.

Mitch

This online town hall ruse is a perfect way to get Obama's spin and propaganda into classrooms all across America.

This is no town hall. The White House selects the questions and the administration prepares the answers.

It's indoctrination.

"It's an experiment designed to encourage transparency and accountability by giving you a direct line to the White House."

What a load of crap!

Transparency and accountability?

BS.

A direct line to the White House?

Yeah, right.

I don't have a "direct line" to the White House.

"Open for Questions" is a joke.

And I don't like the president of the United States utilizing YouTube as part of White House business. It's weird. Very unpresidential.

It is a joke, and a bad joke on that group of Americans who will buy into this so-called openness. But sadly many will---the old saying is true "one born every minute". The un-informed, the uneducated, the fools I understand, but those that should know better, these are the ones who I simply cannot understand.

Oh Ron,

Isn't it just as bad as our fellow conservatives buying into the Rushlin-nuts or the Sykes-o-paths, or the Patty McIl-logical takes on anything. B.O. will do what he wants with this petty stuff. You certainly aren't giving much credit to the intelligence of a lot of our constituency if you are afraid of this minutia. Not worth the time to make the comments or worry about it. All you do is give it more credibility by bringing it into more of a focus.

Here's a question - when WWIII fires up will we be an ally of Israel?

How about this cute little cartoon from the Washington Post:

Unbelievable!

It looks like something Jimmy Carter would draw.
