An event at State Fair Park in West Allis last night did not end well.
From 620 WTMJ:
A huge fight broke out at State Fair Park as a concert that was supposed to happen at an ethnic music and dance festival never did.
The scuffle broke out around 11:00 p.m. Sunday evening during the Mexican Dance and Rodeo event.
People were gathered to see a show, but the act never took the stage.
Some reportedly started throwing various items, including bottles and rocks.
On the bright side, no one was shot.
More, from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Spokeswoman Patrice Harris said State Fair police arrested four people for disorderly conduct during the Sunday night event. She said Milwaukee and West Allis police also responded, but she was uncertain whether those agencies made any other arrests.
"People paid $45 a ticket. They were waiting. He didn't come on. They started throwing cups and oranges at the stage," Harris said.
State Fair police had eight officers assigned to the event and called in other agencies as the crowd's ire grew at the no-show, Harris said.
