Last week, Sen. Blanche Lincoln (DEMOCRAT-Arkansas) apologized for calling government-run health care protesters "un-American."
Yeah, that disgraceful rhetoric and that Dem strategy of demonizing the protesters didn't work out too well.
I want to know when Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer are going to apologize for their terrible remarks.
These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views — but of the facts themselves. Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American.
ALL views should be heard. Debate should be respectful.
It's not at all respectful for Pelosi and those of her ilk to be throwing around a term like "un-American" to describe citizens voicing their opinions.
Sen. Lincoln had the good sense to apologize.
She realized that the "un-American" Dem talking point was a mistake.
Obama and the Democrats made a serious miscalculation when they launched their smear campaign.
It backfired.
