Letterman Scandal and Conan O'Brien

On Tuesday, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien broke its silence on the David Letterman sex/extortion scandal.

Previously, O'Brien had avoided addressing the matter.

The joke on Tuesday's show wasn't delivered by O'Brien. So technically his hands are still clean.

Andy Richter was the one to zing Letterman during the segment, "In the Year 3000." Actually, it wasn't that much of a shot at Letterman. His name was never mentioned and the joke was really on O'Brien.

ANDY RICHTER: Conan O'Brien will confess that he has had sexual relations with co-workers in the past. Sadly, it was back when he was self-employed.

I don't think O'Brien should hesitate to take on Letterman.

He's fair game.
