Obama, Keith Olbermann, and Rachel Maddow

Obama doesn't have a problem with the hosts of opinion shows on MSNBC.

He doesn't consider them the enemy, far from it. He welcomes them to the White House.

MSNBC fringe Leftist commentators Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow were invited for an off-the-record briefing with Obama on Monday.

From TVNewser:

On Monday, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow were among several people who attended an off-the-record briefing with Pres. Obama at the White House. Sources tell us other attendees at the two-and-a-half hour chat included Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post, Maureen Dowd of the New York Times, Gwen Ifill of PBS and Gloria Borger of CNN. Perhaps not surprisingly, no one from Fox News was in the room.

...Update: The White House has sent TVNewser the complete list of those who attended the off-the-record briefing Monday: Eugene Robinson, E.J. Dionne, Ron Brownstein, John Dickerson, Rachel Maddow, Frank Rich, Jerry Seib, Maureen Dowd, Keith Olbermann, Bob Herbert, Gloria Borger, and Gwen Ifill. Several members of the staff also attended.

Oh, my God.

Obama spends two-and-a-half hours with Olbermann and Maddow and Rich and Dowd?

What did they talk about for that long?

Obama can yap for hours with these libs but he can't seem to fit in time to speak with his generals on the ground in Afghanistan and his handpicked commander, General Stanley McChrystal.

That's a disgrace.

The White House shows nothing but disdain for FOX News, seeking to crush it, but Obama courts the haters at MSNBC and the rabid Dowd.

Disgusting.

Has Obama ever invited Glenn Beck or Sean Hannity to the White House for an off-the-record briefing?

He really should if he doesn't want to appear like a jerk.

Instead of this entire tactic why not focus on job creation?

Maybe the administration can learn from the disaster thus far and actually help businesses.
