Conan O'Brien: Neil Young, 'Long May You Run'

UPDATE, February 28, 2010: Neil Young sings "Long May You Run" at the closing ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Neil Young sang "Long May You Run" on Conan O'Brien's final episode of The Tonight Show.

Fans of Late Night with Conan O'Brien may remember that Neil Young appeared on the show for four consecutive nights in early November 2005.

Note: I expect NBC will demand that this video of Neil Young's performance be blocked.

It's too bad that the network doesn't want to share this moment with viewers.

I don't get that decision. NBC could make money with it by including it among the show's video highlights on its own website.

You can see it as part of the final full episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien here.

Conan has some $30 million. He'll run just fine. Good grief. It's just a frickin' TV show!

Thanks for showing this. I think Neil is an icon and have seen him in concert many times without ever being disappointed. As far as Conan, he is second only to Johnny Carson. Jay Leno is certainly no Conan. I will definitely wait to see where Conan ends up and will watch him again. NBC is pretty F.U.B.A.R.!

Performing "Long May You Run" for Conan the extra tall imp cheapens that song immensely.

Conan and Neil are both great entertainers. I'm glad they're around.
