Senator Ted Kaufman of Delaware belittles Sarah Palin supporters.

TED KAUFMAN: There are folks that are out there that are very, very upset at what's going on, very frustrated. I think most of them don't follow what's really happening. But they're upset, and they're mad as hell, and they're not going to take it anymore. And Sarah Palin's the one that appeals to them.
But frankly, most Americans I talk to are really concerned with what the real problems are, and the real issues, and understand them, and realize that they're a lot more complex than sometimes Sarah makes them out to be.
...You know, we're in a society now, and you know it, you can get a small niche market and you can be very, very, very powerful in that small niche market. But it's very different from moving from a small niche market to actually being president.
Kaufman also mocks Palin for the notes she had on her hand during her speech at the Tea Party convention, being very condescending and sarcastic.
KAUFMAN: Well, you know, it's hard to keep track of all the issues that are facing the country.
It's terribly insulting for Kaufman to say that supporters of Palin and the Tea Party attendees "don't follow what's really happening" or understand the "real issues."
This constant sliming of Americans rising up in opposition to "what's really happening" is not a winning strategy for the Democrats or the Dem hacks in the lib media. On the contrary, their remarks serve as an effective recruiting tool for the Tea Party movement.
