From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Quality Candy/Buddy Squirrel of Wisconsin Inc., operator of candy stores at malls in southeastern Wisconsin, has asked the Bankruptcy Court in Milwaukee for permission to sell all of its assets in an auction in May.
The company filed for protection from creditors under Chapter 11 of the Federal Bankruptcy code in January, listing debts of $3.4 million and assets of $4.4 million, including real estate.
A hearing has been set for May 6 to approve the sale procedure. Under the proposal, a minimum bid would be set at $2.5 million. Bidders would be required to purchase all assets, including real estate, machinery and equipment, and retail leases at area malls.
Oh, no.
No more Quality Candy?

What will the new owner do? I suppose there will be a name change. Perhaps "Frontier Candy"?
