Michael Bloomberg Endorses Tom Barrett

Tom Barrett picked up an endorsement today from New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Here's the e-mail announcement from the Barrett campaign:

Dear Friend,

Today, I'm proud to announce my endorsement of Tom Barrett’s campaign for Wisconsin governor.

I have enormous respect for Tom, who I have worked with for years. He has a record as an effective and hard-working mayor that doesn't let ideology get in the way of good solutions. Whether they live in urban or rural areas, Americans need more leaders like him. I am glad to support him in his run for governor.

Like me, Tom Barrett has worked hard in challenging times to reduce crime, produce balance budgets, and partner with businesses to help create jobs for workers and families.

Thank you for standing with Tom Barrett and our fight to create jobs and expand opportunity and prosperity for everyone.

Sincerely,

Michael Bloomberg
Mayor of New York City

Bloomberg is an absolute disgrace.

Before the failed Times Square bomber was identified as radical Islamist and enemy of America Faisal Shahzad, Bloomberg voiced his belief that the suspect was an American disgruntled with Obama and Democrat policies.

Bloomberg said, "If I had to guess, twenty five cents, this would be exactly that. Homegrown, maybe a mentally deranged person or somebody with a political agenda that doesn't like the health care bill or something."

Video.

Bloomberg reveals the depth of his disdain for the majority of Americans who disapprove of the direction Obama and his Dem cohorts are taking the country.

Not a great endorsement for Barrett.
