WI U.S. Senate Race - Tied

Remember when Ron Johnson defeated Washington insider Russ Feingold in 2010, and in 2016?

Eric Hovde can defeat Tammy Baldwin.

Wisconsinites can oust radical Democrat Tammy Baldwin, just as they fired Feingold.

This is a great opportunity to flip the seat.

Charlie Sykes Attacks Ron Johnson

Pathetic. Weird the way Sykes claims that Ron Johnson has "turned into Joe McCarthy."

Ron Johnson is the same solid conservative we elected in 2010 and reelected in 2016. He's not "diminishing confidence in American institutions." He's valiantly trying to save America's institutions.

Sykes has transformed into an unrecognizable, truly disturbing character, not Sen. Johnson. It's sad.

Reince Priebus Considering Run For Wisconsin Governor

I admire Reince Priebus for doing what's best for Wisconsin and for the country.

He was behind the 2010 Republican revolution in Wisconsin, helping Ron Johnson and Scott Walker win.

Without a doubt, he was instrumental in getting Donald Trump elected. The nation can thank Reince Priebus for the many achievements of the Trump administration, for the peace and unprecedented prosperity.

After serving as President Trump's Chief of Staff, Priebus didn't leave and then write a book sliming him. If he had negative things to say, he didn't. He didn't debase himself to make some quick cash by publicly trashing the president, the way so many did.

I'm glad Reince Priebus is considering running for governor of Wisconsin. If the Republicans in the state legislature get their act together and clean up Wisconsin's election process and prevent the corruption of the 2020 race, I'm sure he'd handily defeat Tony Evers.

Leah Vukmir: Reformer Standing Up for Wisconsin Families

Leah Vukmir is a proven reformer and will stand up for Wisconsin families.

Democrat Tammy Baldwin is a radical Leftist. She is a rubber stamp for Chuck Schumer and the Democrats' radical Leftist agenda. She failed to do anything about the opioid crisis at the Tomah VA, other than pay hush money to cover up her inaction and disastrous mishandling of the matter.

We fired Russ Feingold in 2010, and defeated him again in 2016. Now, it's Tammy's turn.

Vote for Leah Vukmir.

Leah Vukmir and Tammy Baldwin Debate: Pre-Existing Conditions

Leah Vukmir wiped the floor with Tammy Baldwin in this debate.

Just as we fired Russ Feingold and replaced him with Ron Johnson, we can fire Baldwin and elect Leah Vukmir to represent us in Washington.

I enthusiastically support Leah Vukmir.

Wisconsin Leftists - Violent Imagery Targets Walker and Vukmir

Wisconsin Leftists are at it again, employing violent imagery in a political message.

From Media Trackers:

A liberal group is being criticized for its imagery of a target on Governor Scott Walker and state Senator Leah Vukmir. The image on a Citizen Action of Wisconsin podcast shows a target with an arrow or spear over Walker and Vukmir with the message: “open political season.”

...

Alec Zimmerman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin blasted CAW for use of the image:
“Liberal groups are always ready to blame violence on conservatives, and it’s outrageous that this far-left group would turn around and do this when Gov. Walker and Wisconsin Republicans have repeatedly faced death threats for standing on principle. The anger and hatred of the left is on full display, but Wisconsin Republicans are ready to counter it and keep fighting for bold reform.”
The Walker campaign also issued a statement:
“We would have thought that extreme liberal organizations would have learned from the overreach and death threats Republicans faced in the past. The governor will remain focused on moving our state forward to help Wisconsin win the 21st century.”
The Vukmir campaign also commented:
“The unhinged left loves to be outraged. They’re outraged Gov. Walker and Leah have successfully turned Wisconsin around. They’re outraged President Trump won. And they’re certainly going to be outraged when Leah beats Sen. Baldwin in the fall.” — Jess Ward, campaign manager

Of course, the Leftists insist that President Trump is responsible for the coarseness of the current political environment, condemning him while engaging in irresponsible rhetoric themselves.

Wisconsin Democrats have a history of ugly images and angry, hateful statements.

From December 30, 2010:

One's reaction to the controversy over the anti-Scott Walker bumper sticker being offered by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin may hinge on which version of the sticker one views.

Currently, on the website of the Wisconsin Dems, this is the sticker being promoted:

Scott Walker's not even in office yet, but he has already killed the high-speed rail project, and in the process sent thousands of family-supporting jobs to other states that could have been right here in Wisconsin.

Enough is enough. Since you can't take the train, sign up to get a free DPW bumper sticker that shows your support for high-speed rail wherever you go — and your support for the thousands of jobs the project would have created.

Sign Up to Get Your DPW "High Speed Fail" Sticker

That sticker doesn't look as offensive to me in terms of bloody imagery as this version:

This is the version of the Dems' sticker that was shown last night on FOX 6 News.

There's a world of difference between a depiction of the train slamming into Walker's head with what appears to be bloody results and an image of the train shooting out of Walker's head.

On TMJ4's 10:00 PM newscast last night, the version now being offered by the Wisconsin Dems, the one with the train coming out of Walker's head, was shown.

Both of the Dems' stickers are lame in my opinion, but the version depicting what looks like blood spurting out of Walker's head as the train hits his temple is a violent, gory, and highly inappropriate image for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin to be hawking.

Clearly, the Dems agreed. I only see one sticker available on their website today.

Thanks to Google's cache, the original version lives on.

It's not good for the Wisconsin Dems, or the national party for that matter, when the Associated Press highlights their bumper sticker of questionable taste just days before Republican Scott Walker will be inaugurated and become the governor of Wisconsin. More Leftist extremism exposed.

Kudos to FOX 6 for showing the sticker that actually prompted the outrage. As for TMJ4, try harder.
Wisconsin Democrats were angry and violent long before President Trump entered politics.

Granted, his election sent the Dems completely off the rails. But their anger and derangement is nothing new.

Scott Walker 2018 State of the State Address

Scott Walker is running for a third term as governor of Wisconsin with many successes to his credit.

It will be his fourth election due to the recall effort that crashed and burned. Wisconsinites elected Walker governor in 2010, 2012, and 2014.

To keep Wisconsin moving forward, I intend to vote for Walker in 2018.

GOP on ObamaCare

A concise analysis of Republicans' failure to repeal and replace ObamaCare:

Friday, May 5, 2017

Democrats Sing 'Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye'

Democrats made fools of themselves when the House passed the health care bill yesterday.

It was like the end of a high school football game broke out.

I don't think high school kids are allowed to taunt each other like that anymore. Isn't it considered bullying and poor sportsmanship?

How lame!

What's funny about this is that the passage of ObamaCare and other Democrat policies is what made them lose election after election.

They lost governorships and seats in state legislatures. They lost the U.S. House. They lost the U.S. Senate. They lost the presidency.

National School Choice Week and Ron Johnson

National School Choice Week is January 22-28, 2017.

Seeing Ron Johnson promoting quality education for all American children reminds me how happy I am that, once again, he defeated radical Leftist Russ Feingold.

I am absolutely thrilled that Ron Johnson, and not Feingold, is representing me in the U.S. Senate for the next six years.

I look forward to Wisconsinites sending another School Choice proponent to serve in the Senate in 2018.

Tammy Baldwin needs to be fired, just as we fired Feingold in 2010, and rejected him again in 2016.

Bill Penzey Email: Art of Hope - Cooking Trumps Racism

Bill Penzey, spice guy, is addressing his band of Trump haters again, encouraging them to "embrace hope" to cope with their sadness and sense of loss following the election.

Penzeys Spices November 30, 2016, email:

Subject line: The Art of Hope

Art. Paragraphs are great, but sometimes just a word or two carried in the strength of art can say so much more. Wisconsin six years ago was the testing grounds for what we now see unfolding in our nation’s capitol. I understand from your emails the sadness, and the honest sense of loss many of you are feeling right now. I wish I could tell you to take your time to heal, but I can't. In Wisconsin, most of the damage to our economy, our environment and our children's futures happened in those first few months when all-too-many of us had lost our grasp on hope. So here's the Penzey family Thanksgiving weekend art project. Embrace Hope.

On our Facebook page, someone was hoping our Cooking trumps Racism image (yes Cooking trumps Sexism is in the works) was going to become bumper stickers, mugs, etc. I thanked them, but said sorry, no, as much as this message is the one we need right now, in the long run I don't want to trump anything. I do believe strongly that Kindness can't just sit down every time anger stands up. Cooks have strength, cooks are up to the struggle for hearts and minds ahead of us. But if we have to battle dragons, once we are done, no good will come of holding on to souvenirs that reignite conflict. This Embrace Hope plaque on the other hand, with the way color brought it to life this weekend, really might be worth holding on to.
Penzey hates Scott Walker and he hates Trump and he hates all who voted for them.

We know, we know. You've told us what seems like a million times.

"Cooking trumps Sexism" is in the works?

Oh, goody. I can't wait.

I won't do business with Penzey. He gets off on stirring anger, creating divisions, and causing discord among people. That doesn't sound like a recipe for peace and love and healing the world.

Hypocrite.

Bill Penzey Email, November 22, 2016

I signed up to receive emails from Penzeys Spices.

The crap is already filling my inbox.

I don't think Bill Penzey really wants selling spices to be his career. I think he's a wannabe politician.

Here's his email from the evening of November 22, 2016:

Subject Line: Please help us send a message!

Just 4,000 more likes will double our Facebook likes since last Tuesday.

Midnight tonight ends your chance to send a message. We are just a few thousand Facebook page likes short of doubling our likes since we first addressed the Republican Party's open support of racism in this last election. If you are on Facebook and haven't already liked us, it would be great if you could do it tonight. This email is on Facebook as a post right now, sharing there would also be a great way to help.

And yes, we are using this moment to promote our business. We do believe in what we do. Cooking really does heal the world. It's not magic that makes having cooking in our lives lead to better outcomes. Cooking dramatically reduces our susceptibility to irrational thought. And you may have noticed this election has been all about irrational thought. Cooking really is our way Forward.

Six years ago, Wisconsin became the trial grounds for how unlimited political spending can overwhelm the will of the people. One of the most important lessons we've learned here is that the goodness of our community is not measured by the tally of a voting machine. The kindness and decency of the American people did not disappear two weeks ago. The majority of this country believes the path to a brighter future is in caring for each other. Unfortunately the majority will be facing minority rule.

The second thing we learned six years ago, when the very same forces came to power with many of the same faces, is that the most important days of the next four years will come in the first few months of next year. We were caught flat-footed six years ago. We could not believe the extremism we were seeing. It took us until August to launch our "Support your local teacher" campaign to counteract Wisconsin's attack on public schools. Seeing the extreme voices being welcomed into the White House and the Cabinet, we can't be caught flat-footed again. We are already on our toes.

One of our customers said it so well this morning: “Devastated by election results, I turned off my phone, tv, computer. I was heartbroken realizing the size of the population I live with that are racist, many of which are not self-aware. Reading your email this morning brought me to tears. It gave me back what was lost—hope. Thank you.”

It's time to get our heads out of the sand. If you need to mourn, take this weekend to mourn. Cook, share time with family and friends, and heal. But come Monday it's time to get back at it. Come Monday we have a world to save. A few more Facebook likes will help. Please pass this along.

Heal the world—Cook dinner tonight.

Bill

So he's slamming Scott Walker as he slams the new leadership in Washington and the racist voters who elected them.

Six years ago, Wisconsin became the trial grounds for how unlimited political spending can overwhelm the will of the people.
According to Penzey, Republicans openly support racism and Scott Walker got elected and overwhelmed the will of the people.

WRONG and WRONG. We voted for Scott Walker to be our governor THREE times. That is the will of the people.

This is really sick:

One of our customers said it so well this morning: “Devastated by election results, I turned off my phone, tv, computer. If I'm doing any mourning, it's because of the realization that there are actually people that think like Bill Penzey.

Send a message to Bill Penzey by not shopping at his stores.

Vote Ron Johnson

Here's my post from November 2, 2010:

I am thrilled, THRILLED!

I'm so proud of Wisconsin. We've given the country a great gift. We voted out Russ Feingold and are sending Ron Johnson to Washington.

FINALLY, I will have a senator in Washington who will truly represent me. He shares my values.

Are you listening, Russ?

Can you hear us now, Russ?

You're welcome, America.
It was a great moment. The radical Leftist Feingold was history. We fired him.

The long, Wisconsin nightmare was over.

Ron Johnson would be our senator.

We can't go back to the era of Feingold and enable the taxer, the spender, the voter for ObamaCare, the late-term abortion advocate. Feingold is not a nice guy. He's a fraud. He's a liar. He should be rejected by the voters of Wisconsin as surely as he was in 2010.

Johnson has served Wisconsin and the country with class and distinction. He is a very good man.

VOTE RON JOHNSON.

Russ Feingold: Career Politician, Washington Insider

Russ Feingold and Ron Johnson are as different as night and day. That's why we fired Feingold in 2010 and elected Johnson.

In the final analysis, the most notable difference between the two men is that Feingold wants to be back in the Senate for his own aggrandizement, whereas Ron Johnson is working for us in Washington, to make life better for Wisconsinites and all Americans.

Johnson is truly a citizen legislator, representing us, not his own interests.

We can't let the radical Leftist Feingold back in the Senate.

Vote for Ron Johnson to avert that disaster.

If, God forbid, Hillary becomes president, we need to have people like Ron Johnson in the U.S. Senate, fighting to protect the country from the Left's agenda.

Vote for Ron Johnson.

Russ Feingold and ObamaCare

In 2010, Wisconsinites fired Russ Feingold and gave the job to Ron Johnson for a reason.

Friday, May 15, 2015

Russ Feingold 2016: SERIOUSLY?

So yesterday Russ Feingold made it official and announced via a lame YouTube video that he's in the 2016 U.S. Senate race to retake "his" old seat.

And alleged conservatives in Wisconsin spent the day whining about current U.S. Senator from Wisconsin Ron Johnson.

It is maddening.

I want to secede. Not from the U.S. Good grief.

I mean I can't take this crap anymore.

The idiots who claim to care about their alleged beloved country and claim to be conservative and claim to value their liberty are the same jerks who are responsible for all the damage Obama and the Democrats have done.

Had these irresponsible people kept Obama from a second term, something that was within reach, we wouldn't be on the verge of a nuclear Iran.

Run down the list of fresh hells Obama and his crew have delivered, all thanks to the alleged conservatives, both social and fiscal.

You make me sick.

Feingold is getting in because this is a presidential election. He thinks he can ride his way back to the Senate the way the disgraceful Tammy Baldwin got there. He may be right, because so many alleged conservatives are so selfish and so stubborn and so blind.

It's ridiculous to even entertain the notion that Ron Johnson is no better than the radical Leftist Feingold. IT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

Has Johnson done all he promised?

No.

Has Johnson been a disappointment in some ways?

Yes.

BUT, would Russ Feingold have ever challenged Hillary Clinton on Benghazi the way Johnson did?

GIVE ME A BREAK!

Feingold in the Senate compared to Johnson? It's a no-brainer.

DON'T BE STUPID!

To illustrate Feingold's extremism, I always bring this out from his days in the U.S. Senate. It deserves another look.

On September 26, 1996, during debate on partial-birth abortion, Feingold revealed just how radically pro-abortion he is.

Transcript

Sen. Santorum: Will the Senator from Wisconsin yield for a question?

Sen. Feingold: I will.

Sen. Santorum: The Senator from Wisconsin says that this decision should be left up to the mother and the doctor, as if there is absolutely no limit that could be placed on what decision that they make with respect to that. And the Senator from California [Sen. Barbara Boxer] is going up to advise you of what my question is going to be, and I will ask it anyway. And my question is this: that if that baby were delivered breech style and everything was delivered except for the head, and for some reason that that baby's head would slip out -- that the baby was completely delivered -- would it then still be up to the doctor and the mother to decide whether to kill that baby?

Sen. Feingold: I would simply answer your question by saying under the Boxer amendment, the standard of saying it has to be a determination, by a doctor, of health of the mother, is a sufficient standard that would apply to that situation. And that would be an adequate standard.

Sen. Santorum: That doesn't answer the question. Let's assume that this procedure is being performed for the reason that you've stated, and the head is accidentally delivered. Would you allow the doctor to kill the baby?

Sen. Feingold: I am not the person to be answering that question. That is a question that should be answered by a doctor, and by the woman who receives advice from the doctor. And neither I, nor is the Senator from Pennsylvania, truly competent to answer those questions. That is why we should not be making those decisions here on the floor of the Senate.

That exchange is absolutely chilling, so chilling that Feingold had the Congressional Record altered.

Feingold actually refused to say that the life of a baby who survived a late-term abortion should be protected.

That's not just being pro-abortion. That's pro-infanticide.
Maybe you don't give a rat's ass about the sanctity of life. Maybe you're not a social conservative. Whatever.

Feingold's horrific pro-infanticide stance, which is exactly what he displayed, speaks far beyond that issue.

It's about Feingold's JUDGMENT and his CHARACTER.

Protecting innocent human life, the weak and the vulnerable, may not be Wisconsinites' main concern when they cast their votes for the U.S. Senate in 2016; but where Feingold stands on partial-birth abortion matters because it reveals so much about him and his lack of competence to serve, his absolutely terrifying radicalism.

If Feingold doesn't realize that an abortion SURVIVOR has the right to live, if his judgment and his character are that flawed, then he's certainly not fit to serve in the Senate.

If a conservative wants to challenge Johnson for the Republican nomination, fine. I'll take a look. But if the choice is between Feingold and Johnson, there is no question that Johnson should be reelected.

It's so clear.

Feingold is the enemy of conservatism, whether it's social or fiscal or whatever.

Allowing this radical back in the Senate would be an enormous mistake.

I'm so angry with the alleged conservatives allegedly acting on alleged principle, claiming to be so ticked off by Johnson that Feingold is a more appealing option.

WHAT?

Your values are so messed up.

Really, what the hell is wrong with you?

I don't know what to do. What have I been doing? Why have I have been working?

Am I supposed to sit back, collect my Obama phone, and be a slave to the government?

Give me a handout.

Work? Why?

Rugged individualist? Screw it.

When I think of all that American blood that has been shed for freedom and all the alleged conservatives, the people who allegedly know better, willing to participate in the collapse of the greatest country in history, it makes me want to secede - withdraw, break away and not look back.

Scott Walker: Our American Revival

Some conservatives are pleased with the revelation that Scott Walker has formed a 2016 presidential committee.

They're excited about Our American Revival.

From the Washington Post:

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, whose speech to activists in Iowa last weekend drew strong reviews, has taken the first formal step toward a presidential candidacy in 2016, establishing a committee that will help spread his message and underwrite his activities as he seeks to build his political and fundraising networks in the months ahead.

Walker filed papers to set up the committee, called "Our American Revival," and a new Web site for the organization was scheduled to go live later Tuesday. The steps come after a busy weekend of pre-presidential events that included his address at the Iowa Freedom Summit, a later appearance at a gathering in California hosted by the billionaire Koch brothers and a stopover in Denver for additional fundraising.

“Our American Revival encompasses the shared values that make our country great; limiting the powers of the federal government to those defined in the Constitution while creating a leaner, more efficient, more effective and more accountable government to the American people,” Walker said in a statement in the release announcing the committee.
"[A]ppearance at a gathering in California hosted by the billionaire Koch brothers" -- Koch brothers, of course. Is it possible for a Leftist media outlet to mention a conservative without mentioning the Koch brothers?

It's so silly, especially since talk about the Koch brothers does nothing to dissuade conservative supporters.

Anyway, Walker has enjoyed some good buzz nationally.

Walker emerged as the star from last weekend's Iowa Freedom Summit.

Read: Why Scott Walker is winning raves for shopping at Kohl's

In addition, Rush Limbaugh has practically endorsed him, which is huge. For a long time, Limbaugh has cited Walker as the blueprint for conservative success. He continues to support Walker.

Many people are happy to see Walker pursuing a presidential run.

As a Wisconsin voter, one of the people responsible for helping Walker to win three gubernatorial elections in Wisconsin, I have mixed feelings.

While I think Walker would make an excellent president and deserves his place in the Republican field of potential nominees, I didn't vote for "Our American Revival."

I voted for "Our Wisconsin Revival."

There is work to be done here at home. I don't want issues important to Wisconsin to become "distractions" to Walker's higher political aspirations.

Granted, if Walker fails to tend to matters in Wisconsin, he hurts his chances to succeed nationally. There is that fail-safe aspect. Walker can't ignore us without putting his presidential hopes at risk.

That's somewhat comforting, but not quite enough.

Although he has been elected governor THREE TIMES, he's only been in office for one term. It's been an incredible, challenging, historic term, but one term, nonetheless.

Without a doubt, Walker is certainly dramatically more qualified to be president than Obama was at the time of his election.

As I said, mixed feelings.

If Americans choose Walker to be the 2016 Republican nominee for president, I will support him wholeheartedly.

I do think Rebecca Kleefisch would make a great governor.

Mark Levin Slams Ron Johnson, Reince Priebus

Mark Levin, constitutional lawyer and president of the Landmark Legal Foundation, is truly ticked off with the Republicans.

In the first hour of his radio program this evening, he went off on the "dirty dealings and cronyism" of the Republican Party.

Among Levin's targets: Reince Priebus and Ron Johnson.

Audio here, from The Right Scoop.

In this clip, Levin doesn't rip Ron Johnson by name. Later, still in the first hour of his show, Levin specifically calls out Johnson for his hypocrisy.

I understand Levin's frustration.

We voted against Obama and his policies, in 2010 and 2014.

I expect the Republicans to do what we elected them to do, and that's not to kowtow to Obama.

Graeme Zielinski: Scott Walker Birthday Rant

Crazed Democrat Graeme Zielinski, the guy who worked as a "researcher" for Chris Abele, produced a stream of spewings on Twitter early yesterday evening.

Sunday was Scott Walker's birthday and the 4th anniversary of his first election as governor of Wisconsin. (God, that was a great night! So many terrific victories!)

Of course, the nightmare would begin a few months later - the protests and all the ugliness. Then came the recall.

But that ended with Walker's historic victory, defeating Tom Barrett - again.

This stinging defeat for the Democrats left some of them angry and bitter and bent on revenge. Of course, some were angry and bitter long before the recall.

Read some of the weird poison tweeted by Zielinski:

Zielinski, Abele's "researcher," is really twisted. A mentally balanced adult wouldn't publish such bizarre statements.

Why not tweet about Mary Burke's accomplishments and her qualifications to be governor of Wisconsin?

Right.

One tweet, 140 characters, is more than enough to tell that story.
