Old yearbook photos have a way of making people cringe but Rachel Maddow should be proud of hers – that is if she can even recognize her old self!

Check out the MSNBC host's photo from Castro Valley High School in California, featuring Maddow in an off-the-shoulder black top with earrings.

...As she once told PEOPLE, while girlfriend Susan Mikula is definitely a girlie-girl, "I look like a dude."

Wow. That transformation is nearly as dramatic as Chastity Bono's new look.
