Watch Tom Barrett's new ad, "Headlines."
According to the analysis by PolitiFact Wisconsin, it's so misleading that it gets a "Pants on Fire" rating.
That hurts, but never fear. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is still shilling for Barrett, "Leader of Dem governors touts Barrett."
Isn't the Journal Sentinel balanced in its coverage?
The "Pants on Fire" Barrett ad has been running for days. Scott Walker complained about its lies days ago, and the Journal Sentinel mentioned that Walker called the ad dishonest. That was on October 1, 2010.
Finally, the Journal Sentinel gets around to declaring the ad a lie.
Of course, when Mark Belling made the charge about a Russ Feingold ad looking fake, the Journal Sentinel put his accusation to the test, gave Belling's statement a "Pants on Fire" rating, and had the story posted on its website in less than 24 hours.
Even when they're flat-out lying, the Journal Sentinel cuts the Dems slack.
