Before Keith Olbermann's goofy TWO-DAY suspension from MSNBC, he debuted a new sign-off mocking John Boehner and the Republicans. Upon returning to the air on Tuesday, Olbermann resumed his lame sign-off.
From Media Research Center:
Since Republicans won control of the House of Representatives last week, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann has recited at the end of his Countdown show a new sign-off each night he has hosted noting the number of days since the GOP victory and mocking Speaker-designate John Boehner by sarcastically asking, "Where are the jobs?"
At the end of Wednesday’s Countdown, he ended the show: "That's November 10th, seven days since the Republicans took control of the House. Mr. Boehner, where are the jobs? I'm Keith Olbermann. Good night and good luck."
...Below are transcripts of each of Olbermann’s sign-off statements since Wednesday, November 3, not including Friday and Monday when he was suspended from his Countdown show on MSNBC:
#From Wednesday, November 3:
That’s November 3rd, one day since Republicans took control of the House. Mr. Boehner, where are the jobs? I’m Keith Olbermann. Good night and good luck.
#From Thursday, November 4:
That’s Thursday, November 4th, two days since Republicans took control of the House. Mr. Boehner, where are the jobs? I’m Keith Olbermann. Good night and good luck.
#From Tuesday, November 9:
That’s November 9th, seven days since the Republicans took control of the House. Mr. Boehner, where are the jobs? I’m Keith Olbermann. Good night and good luck.
#From Wednesday, November 10:
That’s November 10th, eight days since the Republicans took control of the House. Mr. Boehner, where are the jobs? I’m Keith Olbermann. Good night and good luck.
Does Olbermann realize that Republicans do not currently have control of the House?
At present, Democrats still have control. Nancy Pelosi is still the Speaker of the House, not John Boehner.
Power hasn't shifted yet, making Olbermann's sign-off especially lame.
