Kristinn shares a story about Sarah Palin on her recent humanitarian mission to Haiti.
Read about that mission here:
Palin Urges Americans to Remember Haiti
A caption to an Associated Press photo of Sarah Palin in Haiti, taken by Dieu Nalio Chery, creates some controversy. Liberals and Palin critics seized on the image to attack her.
The AP caption suggests that Sarah Palin brought a hairdresser with her to Haiti. Leftists jumped on Palin's alleged vanity as she tours the nation hit by cholera while still recovering from that disastrous earthquake.
From the Daily Mail: Ready for Her Close Up...Sarah Palin Lands in Haiti (where they don't care what her hair looks like).
From the Huffington Post: Reading the Pictures: Palin Does Haiti Cholera: How's My Hair (and did AP lend a curl?).
From Palingates: BREAKING NEWS: Palin Looks Good in Haiti.
They don't mention that the 'hairdresser' is Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol.
The AP caption identifies her husband, Todd Palin. It certainly should have identified her daughter, Bristol, by name.
"Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, center, has her hair done during a visit to a cholera treatment center...."
Daughter Bristol is fixing her mom's loose strand of hair. Sarah Palin isn't having her hair done.
Good grief.
The photographer captured a nice mother-daughter moment, not proof that Palin cares more about how she looks than the suffering of the people of Haiti.
Bristol doesn't travel with her mother to serve as her hairdresser.
This is clearly an instance of the AP attempting to make Palin look bad.
More idiocy from the lib media.

The Associated Press is "liberal media"? LOL - that's rich. L'me see...if the news source does not start with an F and end with an X it's gotta' be liberal...'cuz goodness knows - if there's news, it's only covered accurately by Fox. (Text for photo captions are generally written by the publication running the story - like your local editors at the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel or Wisconsin State Journal.)
