Today is Blog for Choice Day.
It's a NARAL event.
Blog for Choice Day Turns Six in 2011!
On January 21, 2011 - the Friday before the 38th anniversary of Roe v. Wade - we invite pro-choice bloggers and activists to join us for Blog for Choice Day!
Blog for Choice Day is in its sixth year - I know, it's growing up so fast. Today, we're able to get even more people writing about choice through Facebook and Twitter. But what hasn't changed is that Blog for Choice Day still gets more people reading and talking about reproductive rights online on one of the most important days surrounding a woman's right to choose: the Roe anniversary.
And Blog for Choice Day couldn't have come at a better time. We truly need people talking about choice now that anti-choice John Boehner is speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Joe Pitts is in charge of a panel that oversees many women's health programs, and the freshmen class in the House has 79 anti-choice members.
At the state level, as a result of the 2010 elections, the number of anti-choice governors increased from 21 to 29. Plus, 15 states not only have an anti-choice governor, but anti-choice politicians also control the legislature.
That's why our Blog for Choice Day 2011 question is: Given the anti-choice gains in the states and Congress, are you concerned about choice in 2011?
What you write is up to you. Whether you are keeping an eye on your new governor, the anti-choice protesters at the clinic closest to you, or your member of Congress, we just ask that you write from your heart about what concerns you most about choice given the political realities. The possibilities are endless and your support is critical.
CELEBRATE!
"Blog for Choice Day Turns Six in 2011!"
Think about that. Pro-abortion proponents are celebrating the sixth "birthday" of "Blog for Choice Day."
Do these people understand how sick it is to use birthday imagery to promote a day celebrating killing?
This line is unbelievable: "Blog for Choice Day is in its sixth year - I know, it's growing up so fast."
"Growing up so fast"? How twisted!
Do they realize that a child born on their first "Blog for Choice Day" would probably be learning to read by now?
Children do grow up so fast. They are so precious.
Let's be honest about the celebration of the 38th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
This really is about celebrating the killing of human life. Tens of millions of unique human beings have been slaughtered under the guise of CHOICE.
To counter this perverse celebration, people who respect life and value the unborn are responding to "Blog for Choice Day" with "Ask Them What They Mean By ‘Choice’ Blog Day."
Jill Stanek writes:
When NARAL announced a “Blog for Choice Day,” to be held this Friday, January 21, my blood boiled.
How dare they celebrate the upcoming 38th anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision with their ambiguous claptrap.
Over 50 million babies have been killed in America since that terrible day, most certainly nothing to cheer about, unless you’re in Rome at the Colosseum perhaps.
So pro-life bloggers are banding together to sponsor a counter “Ask Them What They Mean When They Say ‘Choice’ Blog Day” on the same day, January 21.
We’re also encouraging all pro-lifers on Twitter and Facebook to participate.
The idea is simple. Any time any of us reads pro-aborts spouting their obscure “choice” rhetoric on a blog, website, Facebook, or Twitter, we call them out on it. We ask them to explain what the “choice” is.
Is it to eat carrots rather than broccoli? To wear red instead of blue? No, of course “choice” is code for killing babies. What’s their problem with the A-word?
The use of the word "choice" by the pro-abortion movement is so insidious. It's cowardly.
If they're so proud to support the killing of the unborn, why are they afraid to be clear about what it is they're "choosing"? Why hide the reality of abortion by softening the language?
"Choice" means killing a unique, one and only, human life.
If one is pro-choice, one is pro-abortion. "Choice" equals death, the mother's "choice" to intentionally kill her unborn child.
That's what it means.
Let's not play word games.
Let's be honest.
Today is "Blog for Killing the Unborn Day."
In its sixth year, "it's growing up so fast."
No.
It's not about growing. It's not about life. Millions of babies weren't permitted to even take their first breaths since that first online event. Their mothers didn't allow them to grow up at all. And some people cheer that.
FACT: "Choice" means choosing death for one's child.
The anniversary of Roe v. Wade is the darkest of days. It stands as a reminder of over 50 million birthdays never celebrated.

Sad how the radical right can incorporate their message of control and hate into the most benign story. Womens reproductive rights are personal choices - those who just can not accept that will never give up - which is why those who support freedom can never cave in to the constant presure.
I don't consider the slaughter of over 50 million human lives "benign."
But that's just me.
You want to talk about control and government meddling in personal choices?
Talk about ObamaCare.
