Bullying and Federal Government

Being bullied in school?

Never fear. You can count on the federal government to come to the rescue. Help is on the way.

Video.

Transcript, from CNSNews:

TOM PEREZ: If you have been targeted for harassment or bullying because of your sexual orientation, because of your gender identity or expression, or simply because your classmates see you as different, I am here to tell you that the Civil Rights Division will not stand for it.
Good grief. Has it really come to this? I don't think it's the job of the federal government to handle bullying problems. This looks like a shameless attempt of the Obama administration to appeal to its base. Parents, if your son or daughter is being bullied at school, call the U.S. Department of Justice. I'm sure they'll get right on it.
