I Support Scott Walker

The union thugs have run amok.

These aren't peaceful protests. It's become a frightening situation. This is thuggery. They are shutting down the government in Wisconsin.

Charlie Sykes tweets:

Staffers openly expressing fear of physical intimdation at Capitol; unions thugs blocking doors and hallways; refusing to let them move.

More:
Sen. Vukmir: "They have overplayed their hand and are making the case for our vote. It is a protest on steroids. Very scary."

From the MacIver Institute:
Wisconsin Capitol staffers told to lock doors to offices. Need police escorts to move within the building. Protesters pounding on windows.

As bagpipes play America the Beautiful outside- protesters trying to kick down hallway doors to some GOP offices inside the Wis Capitol.

ENOUGH!

I won't be intimidated by the unions' thug tactics. They have overplayed their hand.

ENOUGH!

Scott Walker is taking a stand. He's doing what the people of Wisconsin sent him to Madison to do.

It nauseates me that my tax dollars fund these thugs. I'm angry. I think those failing to show up for work should be warned that if they aren't at their jobs tomorrow, they will be fired.

Hey, union members!

Your methods are absolutely unacceptable. You've lost me.

this is akin to terrorism - the union "professionals" are using the kids as hostages for their own personal gain
they should all be fired and give someone a job who wants one and needs one

It's about time we have a Governor in WI that's not crooked and doesn't go against the tax paying working residents of this State.

Mish has provided some great information regarding Public Unions. This is a must read. The Public Unions seem to have forgotten who is their employer and are acting like Terrorists.
Make sure to read what FDR said about public unions. You may be surprised.

Everyone in the US has a right to voice their opinion, however what happened to professionalism---I have family members in S.C. in the education system (a sister who has taught over 30 years and spouse who worked his way up to the administrative field who are appalled over the behavior being displayed. There is a right and wrong way to make your point and this non professional behavior certainly is not helpig these teachers cause. Being a retired SC state employee(RN) from the state of SC I never expected to be given anything free. We were expected to contribute a portion to our pension and insurance. When I was working our salaries were not national average.I expect my insurance premium to go up this year and would not be surprised if my retirement decreased. Yes, it would be a shock but I would have to adjust my spending as we have to all share in this cut back especially if this "Obama Healthcare" is not repealed! I only hope Governor Walker does stand steadfast in his convictions and hopefully the other governors that were elected as well so that this enormous deficit can be fixed or at least begin to be corrected. In my 64 years this is the first time I am realy scared for our future(children/grandchildren).

I saw on TV yesterday a teacher's sign that said "collective bargaining is a human right" and seeing that literally made me ill. First of all, collective bargaining is a privilge, and does not even come close to a human right. Do you see any poor sap in the private sector get collective bargaining for a pension (which is unheard of), and a healthcare for life ... I don't think so. It's long overdue that the hard working taxpayers that are not union stand up and be heard. Unions in Wisconsin are too powerful and are bleeding our state dry.

Governor Walker is a great man in my mind. Wow, I wish we had an honest Governor here in California. We're in deeper trouble here, and yet we have a Governor who won't do anything about the union power stronghold in our state. The people of Wisconsin should be proud to finally have an honest politician on their side.

GO GOVERNOR WALKER! YOU'RE THE BEST. STAY STRONG & BE THE LEADER WHO BRINGS DOWN THE CORRUPT UNIONS.

There's a lot of corruption in the unions, but this budget repair plan isn't about dealing with that.

Walker is trying to deal with Wisconsin's fiscal crisis. He wants to avoid layoffs while protecting the taxpayers.

Unfortunately, the cowardly Dem senators are obstructing him.

I'm a former teacher and I know all the "stuff" that goes on in unions. If Milwaukee teachers knew the things their highly paid union officials do, they would be picketing the MTEA. Many of these officials are making $100,000 and more, have Rolls Royce pensions, health plans and lost work days insurance, not to mention 6 weeks vacation and numerous paid holidays.

Another thing teachers forget is that it was Democrats that passed the law that made strikes illegal and restricted the amount they can receive for wage increases. They forget that it was the Democrats who wanted to take over their schools and it was the Democrats who would love to abolish the unions.

Perhaps if state unions were handcuffed, you'd not have as many lazy state workers. How often do you all see state workers standing around doing nothing? Look at the investigative reports about state workers lying about the time they put in at their jobs. And finally, look at the overtime pay state workers make because union contracts negotiated insanely short working hours.

It's time state workers know what it's like in the real world and pay what most others pay with regards to health insurance and pensions. Support Gov. Walker !!!!!!

My husband and I (and our teenage sons, who are smart enough to make up their own minds) support Walker and his bill. I'm tired of the whining and acting like idiots. I have watched most of this from my hospital bed, wishing I had the health and strength to go to my Capital to show support our Governor.
I am ashamed, ASHAMED to live in the same state as the people who are using swastikas and calling Mr.Walker Hitler. I suggest we send these so smart teachers back to grade school to remind them of what Hilter really did.

It's about time that someone stands up for the taxpayer in this state. We need more legislators like Scott Walker and the Senate and Assembly Republicans.
