DSCC: Wisconsin Recall Elections

There is no question that Wisconsin's recall elections have national significance.

From Guy Cecil, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee:

Quick reminder: It’s Recall Election Day in Wisconsin! Polls are open until 8 p.m., and a strong Democratic turnout is needed to recall Republican senators who sided with Gov. Scott Walker to strip away the rights of Wisconsin’s teachers and other public servants.

If you live in State Senate District 2, 8, 10, 14, 18 or 32, be sure to vote.

Even if you don’t live in one of these districts, you can do your part by making sure friends and family who do live there get to the polls. And remember: You can register to vote on Election Day in Wisconsin.

The nation is watching. Let’s come together as Democrats to win!

Guy Cecil

I hate this meddling in my state's business.

This is class warfare.

Clearly, Cecil and the Democrats have no interest in coming together as a nation. With them, it's party before country, political expediency before principle.

Note how the message bolds the same-day registration reminder.

The Dems love Wisconsin, voter fraud haven.

"[R]ecall Republican senators who sided with Gov. Scott Walker to strip away the rights of Wisconsin’s teachers and other public servants."

What a CROCK!

What about taxpayers' rights?

What about fiscal responsibility and a thriving economy in Wisconsin?

For me, a Wisconsinite, this isn't an abstract contest for control, unions and Leftists flexing their muscles, intimidating anyone daring to go against their liberal agenda. These elections will have real life consequences for me and my family.

I don't want higher taxes. I don't want my money confiscated by the state to fund the unreasonable demands of public school teachers and other public servants.

DON'T RAISE MY TAXES!

It doesn't make sense to recall those responsible for balancing the budget without raising taxes.

Boot someone out of office for a job well done?

That's insane.
