Wisconsin Recalls: Lefty Tweets

A sampling of tweets from Leftists on Recalll Election Day in Wisconsin:

RUSS FEINGOLD:

Help stop Gov. Walker's radical agenda today. Find your polling place for the recall elections here - http://t.co/Bz2CFHi

CHRIS LARSON:
Today, Wisconsin will show the country that when we stand up & fight back against extreme policies, we win. #WIrecall

ILLUSORY TENANT:
#WIunion #WIrecall You know these six Republican Senators actually voted to have their political opponents arrested, right? In America.

BOLD PROGRESSIVES:
Allowed to vote in #Wisconsin? Were you turned away? Long lines? Call 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683) or tweet @EPWisco

SANDY PASCH:
You can register to vote at the polls with your proof of WI residence. Find out how: http://dld.bz/aktCx

Balancing the budget and not raising taxes is a radical agenda and extreme?

Really?

Russ Feingold, former U.S. senator fired by the people of Wisconsin, thinks so.

Chris Larson, former shoplifter and Ed Schultz's best friend, thinks so.

Bringing AWOL state senators back to Wisconsin to do their jobs after they shirked their duties as public servants and brought the functioning of the state's government to a halt is out of line?

Really?

Really??

Nicely state. I do have one serious disagreement however. You called Chris Larson a "former shoplifter". That isn't completely true.

I think shoplifting is one of those things that never becomes a "former".
For example, they don't call Whitney Houston a "former Grammy winning vocalist"...she's just a "grammy winning vocalist".

Seemed like very heavy turnout at my polling place in the 32nd. Not that I can tell who they were voting for but I got the feeling that it didn't bode too well for Kapanke. This guy, to me, represents exactly what is right with WI and also our country. A veteran who has owned businesses and employs lots of people in our area. He's not a career politician. Could've caved and taken the easy way out on the budget but didn't. As much as his potential loss will sadden me, the extra salt in the wound will be self-righteous "yes we can" chants that we'll probably hear from Schilling's victory party.

Well, I don't know.

Once a shoplifter, always a shoplifter?

Since Larson hasn't had any arrests for shoplifting in the past couple of years, I'll stick with "former."

It really is too bad that Kapanke wasn't able to serve in the Senate longer. I hope he's proud of his legacy. He did the right thing for the working families of Wisconsin by voting for the Walker budget.
