The Brewers beat the Mets, 6-1.
That's good.
Ryan Braun was ejected.
That's bad.
Watch the video here.
From MLB:
Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun waited through a nearly three-hour rain delay, then did not make it through three innings against the Mets.
He was ejected by home-plate umpire Angel Campos after disputing a called third strike from Mets right-hander Mike Pelfrey in the top of the third inning. Braun turned and had a brief word with Campos, but said enough to draw the ejection.
The third inning has been a trouble spot this season for Braun, who was also tossed in that frame on May 25 after a close call at first base. Before this season he'd only been ejected once in five big league seasons, on Aug. 23, 2009.
Here's video of Braun's ejection in May:
Although it didn't matter tonight, Braun has to be more careful. We can't lose him in the third inning.
