Wisconsin Recalls: Republicans Keep Senate

The unions, other liberal special interest groups, and Obama's campaign operation did everything they could to flip the Wisconsin State Senate via recall elections.

MSNBC became part of the campaign.

Tens of millions of dollars poured into Wisconsin. The Leftists put countless hours into their effort. They even held "block parties," using free food, BBQ, and prizes to induce people to vote. (That's illegal, Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm.)

Alas, they failed. The Republicans maintained control of the Senate.

Out-of-state money couldn't buy enough victories for the Wisconsin Dem candidates to change the balance of power.

All that wasted money, all that wasted time!

Video recap of the recalls, from the MacIver Institute:

Congratulations: Rob Cowles, District 2; Sheila Harsdorf, District 10; Luther Olsen, District 14; and Alberta Darling, District 8.
